Skills for Surviving Chronic Pain

HELP for CHRONIC or LONG-TERM PAIN

Chronic or long-term pain is pain that persists, in spite of standard medical treatments.

Living with chronic pain can create a vicious cycle of anxiety and frustration, dependence on other people, stress, and poor sleep.

Constant stress and poor sleep can lead to depression. Feeling helpless because of chronic pain can also make people feel worthless and unhappy.

In turn, this stress, depression and anxiety can magnify your pain and increase your suffering.

Sometimes you might feel that if only your pain would go away, your stress, anxiety and depression would disappear. But chronic pain does not easily go away.

How can you learn to cope better with this pain, so that your life is more active and fulfilled?

To meet the needs of pain patients INTEGRATED CIRCLE OF CARE is now offering a workshop presented by Dr. Kate Partridge, Psychologist:
